About Us

Online To Do List was built on a simple frustration: modern to-do apps had stopped being to-do lists. Signup walls, workspace wizards, and "Pro" tiers had turned a five-second task like "write down what I need to do today" into a multi-step onboarding flow. We wanted something closer to a sheet of paper — open it, type, done — but with the structure a good digital tool can add on top.

So we built Online To Do List as a genuinely free, no-signup online to do list that runs entirely in your browser. There's no account to create and no password to remember, because your tasks are saved locally on your own device the moment you type them. Nothing is gated behind a paywall: every view, every timer, and every progress chart is available to everyone, for free.

What we believe

We believe a to-do list should respect your time and your privacy. That means getting out of your way instead of demanding an account, and it means keeping your data on your device instead of sitting on a server somewhere. We also believe productivity tools work best when they show you the truth about how you're actually spending time — which is why we built in day, week, month, and year views alongside real progress tracking, rather than gamified streaks designed to keep you opening an app.

Who it's for

Online To Do List is used by students juggling assignments and exams, freelancers tracking client work, remote employees managing daily priorities, and anyone who just wants a fast, aesthetic, distraction-free place to keep a list. If that sounds like you, we hope it becomes the last to-do app you have to try.
